Midtown skyline pink hour, a photo from New York, Northeast

Depuis le Brooklyn Bridge, une vue des buildings de Midtown Manhattan, à New-York.

Dans cette photo, on apprécie la hauteur des deux stars new-yorkaises au milieu des autres constructions : Le Chrysler Building et l'Empire State Builiding.

Je profite une nouvelle fois de la pink hour new-yorkaise, cette photo n'est presque pas retouchée.

From Brooklyn Bridge, A sight of New York City Midtown Manhattan buildings.

This picture shows two New York stars : Chrysler Building and Empire State Building. We cans see their height in the middle of the other tall buildings.

I profited from the pink hour, so there is not much PP work on the picture.

Two prominent landmarks easily spotted among other highrises. Good hour choice to get the amazing color of the sky. Garphics and colors are excellent here as well as sharpnes. Nice work JB.

Très beau shoot ! Madame m'y emmène dans moins d'un mois, je peux te dire qu'en voyant cette photo, ça me donne encore plus envie !

La compo est paisible et semble préparer la ville qui ne dort jamais à s'assoupir un peu dans ces lueurs douces.

Le cadrage osé laissant une place importante au ciel est à mon avis une réussite. Pas évident ce genre de cliché ou a toujours tendance a mettre plein pôt dans la pastille le sujet qui attire l'oeuil donc l'Empire State.

Bonjour JB, wonderful overview on the Big Apple, with a gorgeous sky and a perfect vision of the two taller icons. The light is beautiful and the composition, including a big portion of sky is just great. Excellent work!

Tu t'imposes comme le grand specialiste TE de la pink hour !
J'aime bien ici comment certains eclairages ressortent framchement sur cette dominante, comme le rouge et le vert de l'ESB, ce cadrage est pas mal aussi mais j'ai l'impression que ca penche un chouia a gauche.

Hello JB,
une joli compo aux couleurs sympathiques surtout avec la lumière des buildings et ce ciel un peu spécial. Y a juste le p'tit bout de barrière à droite qui me dérange un tantinet mais c'est un détail. J'aime bien l'ensemble même si ce n'est pas pour moi ta meilleure photo.

J'aime bien l'ambiance nocturne que tu as fait ressortir sur cette photo, le cadrage faisait lma part belle au ciel est sympa, juste un peu dommage le morceau de barrière en bas à droite. Beau travail.

Very nice in deed! A very good exposure as the lights on the landmark building have not been blown out with OE. The pastel last light is very pleasing. Well done.

Ces tours illuminées sur fond de ciel rose sont du plus bel effet. Le panorama est bien choisi, j'aime bien l'effet de relief que donnent les constructions à l'avant plan. Joli coup d'oeil JB, bravo.

The sky is amazing, I like this time of the day because you cna see wonderful colors and the buidings strat to turn on the ligths the life start to wake up, is lie to be alive special in this amazing city.

JB, wonderful pink and purple hour with all the light of the buildings. It reminds me a well decorated christmas tree ;-)
I think it was quite important to mention in your note that you virtually didn't do any PP here, otherwise I would have the impression of another Bubu'sque interpretation of NY.

Salut JB, on se laisse porter par tes clichés de la grosse pomme. C'est une ville tellement filmée et shootée qu'on en arriverait presque à la connaitre sans jamais y mettre les pieds. C'est grace à des gens comme toi... Un ciel comme ça, t'avoueras que t'as eu du bol... Bonne soirée ;-)

Salut JB, sublime cette purple hour new yorkaise ;)
Réglages particuliers à 400 ISO, 70 mm pour f3.5 à 1/30s sans tripod ... comme disait mon prof de sport, peut importe la manière pourvu qu'on est le résultat ;)
... et qu'il est beau ce résultat !

A beautiful shot, with a well balanced composition and taken in great light. The combination of the deep purple evening sky and the lights of the city works very well. The positioning of the Chrysler and Empire State buildings gives the shot a good balance.
There's a bit of a tilt to the left, but not so much that it detracts too much from the success of the image.

Le crepuscule est vraiment le meilleur moment pour la photo de nuit...pink or blue hour,ces derniers temps j'ai re decouvert Sinatra et je fredonne souvent New york new york...

Wow! quel cadrage si joli, en suivant la règle des tiers et en captant l'architecture merveilleuse du Manhattan, l'ESB, le Chrysler, le Citygroup Center, le Metropolitan Life Insurance Building, le Met Life, Times Square, etc.. Tout peut être vu d'un grand détail.
L'heure rose et les nuages en ciel créent un beau contraste avec l'éclairage fantastique des bilidings.
J'aime NYC, et j'aime bien ta photo.
