Dans les rues de Manhattan, difficile de résister à ces beaux reflets.
Ici la complexité des reflets, créés par plusieurs buildings, m'a plu, associée aux teintes chaudes de la lumière ambiante.

The distortion of the reflection is very good and the colour combination is superb. However, I am having trouble in mentally making up the shape of the building. Well done.

Les lignes du building forment un joli impact graphique et la distortion de la réflection un bel effet visuel. J'aime bien les couleurs et le cadrage vertical. Ca va dams mon thème 'more fav.pictures'.

Effectivement, on ne peut pas se promener dans Manhattan sans succomber à l'appel des reflets qui nous hèlent de toute part. En plus du graphisme très éupré de l'image, tu as bénéficié d'une lumière particulièrement chaude qui contraste bien avoir la froideur de cette architecture moderne. Un très bon coup d'oeil !

Hi JB,
Again a wonderful building in great reflection. And you are using such a tight crop that it becomes an almost abstract looking photo.
The patterns and colours that are created by light and shadow are amazing. The diagonal lines makes this whole image even stronger...fantastic shot..!!!

bien sûr, lorsque on se promène dans Manhattan on ne peut pas de refuser à capter des images comme celle-ci, l'architecture impressionnante moderne de la ville qui nous offre ces beaux reflets dans ses façades en verre.
Et tu l'as fait, c'est une photo excellente et avec un grand graphisme, j'aime la géométrie de ces lignes qui se croisent entre elles et créent une image un peu abstraite mais très jolie.
Une bonne photo, de plus elle a une bonne illumination et quelques belles couleurs.

I am not a fan of odd angles of familiar objects but this one seems to work. I do like how your main reflection is limited to a portion of the main building. This seems to emphasis the graphic elements of the window panes. The almost monotone colors likewise enhances the same graphic elements. Well done, I truly like this image.

Hello JB,
des jeux de réflections dans des couleurs chaudes, d'agréables obliques douces.
Un cadrage un peu zoomé qui permet de ne pas voir de bords d'immeubles pour gerder le graphisme sur toute la surface.

Yes. It is a beautiful reflection with small criss crossing rythmn against the dark glass. A very nice catch and composed properly in your frame.

Un résultat surprenant.
Avec ton cadrage on perd toutes notions de perspective... on ne sait pas combien il y a d'immeuble, ou sont les angles... Un très bon travail.

Hello JB,

I agree with you about the complexity of the reflections. It is amazing that flat, polished plate glass can cause so much distortion. Although it is not my photo, I've always liked Paris 3 by Vojtech, in which it is not the plateglass, but an actual painted canvas that emphasizes this effect.

Love it, JB! Excellent crop of this festival of lines and reflections. That's what I love about downtowns and especially in NYC: the proximity of the skyscrappers give us great visual effects everywhere and changing all the time. Beautiful composition.

Hello JB,
You play so well with the reflections and you compose your photos in such a nice way that it's hard to understand what is real from what is reflected on this one. There is a tri-dimensional feeling on this one caused by the cuts and squares appearance on the bottom third, but what makes the big impact are the distorted reflections, really nice!

awesom shot, love the feeling of liquid gold the warm reflected light on the glass creates. strong lines helps the eye to "travel" around this abstract shot, and the multitude of layers adds mystery to the shot. excellent work, makes me eager to get out of the office and look for patterns in the city :) thanks for sharing.
