Photographer's Note

Our local photo club had an excursion to one of the local national parks recently - to Macquarie Pass National Park. We went to area around Minnamurra Falls where there is a walk through rain forest to the falls.
Along the way was this massive rain forest fig tree, so big and old that you could walk through the middle of the tree. Draping over it and climbing ever upwards were all sorts of other vines. There was no way to take a photo of the whole tree.
By the way this will be my last posting for a little while as I am off to the Northern Territory and the world heritage listed Kakadu National Park and, I hope, lots of good photos.
