Sydney Tower and QVB, a photo from New South Wales, Est

Photographer's Note

Sydney Tower is the tallest structure in Sydney and the second tallest tower in the Southern Hemisphere at 309m. It was constructed between 1975-80. It is a popular tourist attraction and there is quite a good restaurant and observation deck open to the public.
The older Queen Victoria Building is a Romanesque Revival building that was constructed between 1893 and 1898 and is 30 m (98 ft) wide by 190 m (620 ft) long. Both are in Sydney's CBD.

Bonjour Chris,

Je vais bien me décider un jour et entreprendre le très long voyage vers l'Australie. Sydney me semble très très belle. Ici, la contre plongée est spectaculaire et les couleurs joliment saturées.

the contrast between the architecture of the two buildings could hardly be greater but they complement each other well.

I've been enjoying all of your photos from downtown Sydney, I'll have to have a word with Lisa as to why she hasn't shown us these views yet! haha

in this scene here, its as if the city of Sydney is made of Gold!

lots of yellow tones, and of course the blues go well with that color combination.
