COmming home on a 747 one morning at 5am. Taken from the window of the plane. Turned out to be a hot day after a wet night. Picture cropped, framed and sharpened.

The viewpoint is really good & the early morning light really works well. A very clear image, no visible distortion from the aircraft window, the familiar landmarks are clear to see & some unfamilar sides of Sydney too (e.g. the docks). Fine shot.

Considering the circumstances, it's a very good shot! It's pretty clear and sharp, and your post processing is very effective. I agree with peter about the viewpoint - it's slightly untypical and works well. Well done.

Hi Lee,
Grey morning has a special feeling. You were lucky to see this angle before landing. Something not available for everyone as all the sightseeing planes are still asleep at that time.
