Photographer's Note
Here is my old shot, taken about 5-6 months ago.
My experiment on the burnt tool in Photoshop. I burnt only the sky part and converted into B&W.

Fantastic black&white photo. The textures you brought out so well in post-processing are amazing. Good range of tones, great composition, and the man in the foreground is a great touch. Well done!

A very small flaw, but I'd dodge the background around the walking man. You also need to 'feather' (about 15 pixels) so you don't have a tell tale 'watermark' style division between tones.
Fantastic shot otherwise.

Very different Din.. it looks almost metallic. I like the strong contrast and reflections. Well done.

Excelent work Din. Phenomenous composition with superb tones in B&W. Very graphical at the same time. I like the detail of the tiny people walking. That adds perspective.

Dear Din,
great architectural shot. I like how the repetitious b&w is enhancing the picture. Human element works very well too. Thanks for showing :) Yours, Jan

Hi Len, I agree with Chris. I have just done a swap background in Love Birds and used the smudge tool around some of the birds to get a better blend. Otherwise a very successful experiment! I like it a lot.

I Like the geometrics and patterns a lot, the burning works for me, gives a stormy moody feel to the whole image :)
Nice :)

Excellent and unusual rendering of this well known architecture pieces. I like the crop, POV, that makes very nice and interesting shapes, and you B&W PP: COntrast and tonal range are perfect to reveal roofs details, structure can be seen very well. Together with the people presence, a really excellent B&W shot Din!

The grey tones are nice and the sky is terrific! The picture is very nice, but I like that. Only a little problem : we only see the legs of a "men in black" in the shadow. Cheers!

Looks very striking, Din. Amazing contrast and texture on the distinctive elements of the opera house. Well composed, too, the only tiny flaw is the way the black man blends into the background. Very good post work.

I like this, remind me of a great Dane "Jorgen Utzon".
It is a good work of him and you, vell compoced, great lines, good light and contrast, make a speciel effect and mood.

Din, it came out really good, with a dramatic effect, it looks very different to what i remember it. I like the way that the texture is really prominent in this shot, Your POV and cropping are working well here

One of the best shots I've seen about this building. Very well balanced, with excelent details and a treatment over the tones very, very good. You've created a very technological image. Like a sci-fi image.
The only thig I can point are the man legs. I believe that you could have cloned them out, or preferably worked on the torso to make it visible and add a human element to the composition.
