Hello Adam,
I understand you are new to the Trek Earth community, and hope this critique will offer you some valued tips in relation to developing finer photos in the future:
You really must include a photographer's note, we need to know more about the destination e.g. "This is a scene in the Sydney CBD looking at the Queen Victoria Building, an old official building now retrofitted with a trendy shopping centre interior"...something along those lines, as this communication is half the learning process on this website.
Also, consider what the main objective of the photo is before you take it, to take a balanced exposure that offers sufficient lighting to the pedestrian subjects, or allows full colours in the sky requires thought into what angle the photo will be taken. Here the angle allows too much light to expose and burn out the sky above, making the image glary and harsh. Other negatives is that the top of the QVB (Queen Victoria Building) is cut out of the frame and could have been included if you were to sacrifice a little of the roadway below. Be careful to align your photo to a level horizon. Trek Earth is not merely for snapshots in my opinion, and I do not consider this photo to be one, it is more of a stepping stone in the right direction for you. In future, post photos that you consider to be of your highest standard and which possess the greatest amount of information and good photographic principles as possible.
I wish you all the very best of luck in your future postings, I believe you are capable of some great work by the improving quality of your other images in your gallery. Thank you for sharing!
Matt
