3 photos today taken near Dr Roberts waterhole in Girraween NP. The walk to the waterhole takes you through an area burnt by the disastrous 2019 bush fires.
You end up at another area with massive granite boulders with narrow gaps between them and also a balancing rock (see the WS for that one).
Along the way are many eucalypt trees with blackened trunk from the fires most of them now recovering.
The Dr Roberts that the waterhole (photos tomorrow) is named after was a great advocate fighting for the protection of native animals.
Once again it was very overcast for not great light but at least there were no deep shadows.
