Photographer's Note
3 photos. Whitehaven beach on Whitsunday Island from a light airplane. The most photographed beach in the Whitsundays is the 6km long Whitehaven beach seen at left. The neat image filter does not work well in aereals, the version I have does not have the option of selecting parts of the frame to be filtered, so everything here came out too soft, especially the top part. I like the WS composition and sharpness better, but this one shows a wider landscape even if the promontory is too centered.
Whitsunday isnad is the lagest one of the Whitsunday group, the highest peak, Whitsunday(what else??) Peak 438m. elevation is seen here above the tidal sandy bay.

Epic point of view, I´ve always suspected your were involve in an UFO crew. This flying sauccer POV confirm me theory. Well, I dont feel blue watchig this blue world while dressing a blue shirt in the mediterranean blue Spain. Epic, David Lean would love it.

Stunning photo! I wish I was somewhere on that island. The color of the photo is great, the composition is great and it's wonderful how a person can look far into the distance.
Great shot!

This is marvellous, breathtaking shot. The aerial shots are always attractive, but this one is fantastic. I love the colours and the formations of the water in the coast. Excellent presentation with 3 photos. Thanks for sharing.

Great panoramic picture you posted here, Tan! I like the depth and details and the Neat Image did a good job, even if it a bit smooted too much the upper part - if you would not mentioned it, I would not have notice it at all!
:)
This version is the best, IMHO..

Hi Tan. I think you made the right choice with this as the main shot. Even though the end of the point is the focal point and it's close to the center of the shot I don't mind it at all and perhaps might even prefer it there. I think the clarity and saturation are better here over the workshops. Maybe it's because I didn't see it before you ran Neat Image but it doesn't look soft to me either. Very nice one Tan!

There is something about a good aerial shot that is almost like magic. This one shows the incredible under surface patterns in the sand, and the gentle rise and fall of the hills. The tiny boats at the right are a great touch too, giving this a sense of scale. Great work!

Hi Tan
Looks like the weather was kind to you on the day. A spectacular aerial view. I've been there years ago, but did not get a view as good as this.

Hej Tan,
A lovely view from, of course, an excellent POV. I like all that different blue tones in the sea. The small white ships are a nice addition to that. Very well captured.

Hi Tan,
A lovely mix of colors and attractive coastal elements from this birdeye perspective, the orientation, important place left to water in the foreground and aperture all contribute to give it depth, the boats add focal point. Colors are lovely, especially where they mix. It seems to me the lower part suffered from scan scratches, which could be easily removed with some PP.
Have a nice week end,
Jean-Yves

Hello Tan,
A special and professional WSY view from you -as expected. Don't mind the softness. You can't help the weather conditions which are very often harsh there but the POV is really great. TFS. Thomas

Hi Tan, The clear turquoise water of the bay is the center of attention on this picture. So the land finger splitting the picture in its center doesn't really hurt the composition. The variations in water color are really amazing and the small islands spread in the background create a nice feeling of distances.

Hi Tan
I love the way the gradient of green/blue colour seem to be changing in the water.
and to top it the land is also all green with the vegetation and trees ... almost looks like a bichromatic image with two colours of blue and green
very nicely taken ...
tfs ... sarju
PS: I hope "bichromatic" is a word .. I am going to check it after writing this mail ... but I guess you will know what I meant anyways

Thank you

Hi Tan,
While this is a heavily photographed place, your framing with the inclusion pf the misty mainland hills in the distance is a unique perspective. The turquoise and white swirls of the inlet are so graceful while the tiny boats bring back happy memories of sailing in the area on Wings of the Dawn. HLJ, Pat

Hello Tan,
Images like this one make me very proud about the natural beauty of my nation. The vivid two-tone colours, the scattering of small boats, the clear waters. You are most lucky to have seen thios sight! Good to see all this land untouched, for the most part, by developers. Very special. Colours, contrast and sharpness are all at good levels, sep. from a plane. Well done.
Matt
