Mining archaeology, a photo from South Australia, Ouest

Photographer's Note

Moonta, on Yorke Peninsula, was a copper mining centre in the early days of South Australia. Many miners came out from Cornwall in England and as a result the mining buildings, such as these, are Cornish in style.
To this day Cornish pasties are very popular in the area.
We visited Moonta on a wet day and landed up with plenty of sticky clay on both the car and our shoes.

SA has some hidden gems, I didn't know about this place, must get there one day. Fine composition and interesting architecture

Nice shot from the place of mining in southern Australia.Very nice perspective and good framing, nice colors and depth of field and an excellent overall quality.Excellent composition, very well done, TFS.
