Photographer's Note

On a hill top just out side of the coastal town of Streaky Bay on SA's Eyre Peninsula are an incredible collection of wind and rain worn granite boulders. The inwardly curved weathered surfaces have a good touch of red. On another wet and windy day we managed to have a good wander around - at least we didn't have to worry about the position of the sun for photos.

Hi Ian. Fascinating rock formations. I wonder where to has gone the rest of the body of the boulder on the right. The middle one reminds me of a shell. never seen a photo of these before. Regards. Klaudio.

Ian, they look like modern sculptures, the kind that someone would plonk in the centre of Melbourne or Sydney! I've never seen a shot of them before or even heard of them. I think your panoramic frame is just what was needed, making an interesting picture despite the dull day. No need to include more than necessary.
