Photographer's Note
Hyde Park Barracks was constructed between 1817-19 as hosing for convict men and boys. It provided convict lodging until 1848. Today visitors to the building discover the daily lives of convicts and other occupants through exhibitions on Sydney’s male convict labour force, Australia’s convict system, an innovative soundscape, excavated artefacts, exposed layers of building fabric and the complex’s rooms and spaces.
The snails are part of the Art about Sydney exhibition, each one weighs 100kg. and is made from recycled materials.

Ciao Chris
una foto straordinaria nella composizione e piacevolissima per i colori saturi che mette allegria.
Un soggetto assai piacevole che hai saputo cogliere nella migliore delle maniere.
Eccellente anche la nitidezza.
Complimenti
Ciao e buona settimana

Hello, Chris!
The strong colors are beautiful in the picture, and the even stronger colors of the snails make them really stand out in the composition! Very good light and colors! Wonderful job!

Bonjour Chris,
Ce qui frappe en premier lieu dans cette composition, c'est la richesse des couleurs, surtout le jaune qui donne beaucoup de caractère à l'ensemble. Elles ne doivent pas bouger plus vite que les naturelles.
Amicalement

Hi Chris,
Those snails look quite funny. And they look so out of the place, no wonder they are part of temporary exhibition. Good colourful architectural shot. And no doubt an interesting place to visit.

Hello Chris
Striking warm cold colour contrasts between the blue sky, the red brick barracks and the bookending yellow snails either end. Good sharpness, density and saturation. Thw wide angled panoramic crop suits the subject. Tfs and have a nice week!
