Photographer's Note
Sydney Tower is the tallest structure in Sydney and the second tallest tower in the Southern Hemisphere at 309m. It was constructed between 1975-80. It is a popular tourist attraction and there is quite a good restaurant and observation deck open to the public.

Bonjour Chris,
Toute les photos qui viennent de l'Australie me donnent de plus en plus envie de visiter cette magnifique ville ainsi que ses villes principales. Cette photo très urbaine est des plus intéressantes et très réussie.
Bon samedi

Hello Chris,
The chosen point of view reveals lot of interesting and diverse architecture. The lighting is ideal to bring out the tones and textures. The people passing by underneath bring the scene to life. Very good clarity indeed.

hi Chris,
Awesome shot, I have never seen this structure presented like this and it looks really superb. A very eclectic mix of building styles too, and these compliment the tower perfectly while the people on the ground offer a great sense of scale. I love the gold and yellow tones to the top of the tower too. Thanks for sharing.
All the best

Hi Chris,
You have clarly found the perfect viewpoint for showing the Sydney Tower tightly squeezed between other tall buildings. Nice street view from CBD, which in general is not that interesting to my experience.

Hello Chris,
A fine street view looking up to the tower top's, that was well placed between the buildings.
Fine clear shot, favorable light and DOF through.
People crossing the streets added a dynamic scale to the whle.
have a nice weekend,
Ike

Hi Chris
I just couldn't resist coming across this photo and making a positive comment.
It reminds me so much of our Harbour Centre tower, very similar indeed.
I've only seen this tower from a distance in photos, so its interesting to see it up close. Are those Wires? trailing down the tower? Very strange, I didn't know it looked like that.
awesome to have the large building on the left side to, it draws us in very well.
excellent inner city shot of Sydney.
cheers

Hello Chris,
I've been up there back when it was called Centrepoint and way way back in 1984! Digital wasn't around back then and the camera I had was analogue. I did get some good shots but all on film and the scanner no longer works. The crowds in the street add good scale. Good colour and sharpness. Tfs!

Hello Chris,
This is a certainly a very tall, modern construction. You have been very careful with your pov, capturing it neatly between its neighbouring skyscrapers, so that we can see it to its best advantage.
The light is great and your dof well judged. The inclusion of the people not only gives an atmosphere to the scene but also provides a reliable sense of scale.
We used to be able to go to the top of BT Telecom Tower in London but after all the troubles with the IRA it was considered too dangerous to utilise as a revolving restaurant! A sad loss!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Chris
Excellent lively urbanscape and the concrete jungle well detailed highlights in lovely deep colours, in particular I love the strong shapes and lines on those buildings. The intense blue balances and soothes the overall color rendition really well, and your
exposure control is flawless. Very well done shot, TFS
Kind regards
