Holi, the Hindu Spring Festival, celebrated here in Brisbane among the local Hindu community. Loads of fun, and well worth getting involved, and getting yourself, and your camera, coloured and a little wet -but the best way to get some close shots :)

I'd given up expecting to see any more posts from you, but glad to see the old street photography is still getting you out and about. There's nothing I can see here that tells me we're not in India. The expressions, and of course the colours are excellent. As you say, you've got to be in it to win it! Hope the camera survived.

I didn't know suxch celebrations are in Australia too. Fun to see all those colours. But the best thing is all those smiles everywhere.

Long time no see! Wonderful to see you back posting here. I've missed your work. Love this shot, you'd never guess this was taking place in Australia, and is just one facet of the beauty of multiculturalism in this country. Something in these dark days we need to cherish. I hope your camera didn't get wrecked but this shot really shows you in amongst it. Not just a bystander, but a participant.

Great to see you've just posted another shot. This one you posted before, it's similar, but I like this one more. Not just because of the holi colours, but most of all because of that one man who is staring out of the crowd directly at us.
