Fishing at dusk, a photo from South Australia, Ouest

Photographer's Note

Wallaroo is on the west coast of the Yorke Peninsula in SA. This father and son pair seemed to be having success with their fishing at dusk.
In the distance you can just see the coastline of the Eyre Peninsula.
The water of Spencer Gulf looks very calm here but the next day we caught the car ferry across the across to the other side (a short cut that saves nearly 400km by road) and most of the passengers were sea sick.

The activities of the fishermen made this an interesting photo, where the colours of the sea and the sky provide a beautiful background. You were lucky that they were sitting some distance apart, which gave you a natural reason to choose this panoramic shape.

I like the soft, pastel sunset colours and the wide angled, panoramic crop. Good sharpness and the fisherman and his son add good focal points that counterbalance one another. Tfs!
