Photographer's Note
On my revisit to our 16,000km road trip to Western Australia in 2013 I now move further west on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia to an area near Mt Wedge where we came across this ruin - an stone old farming cottage.
More detail in the large version.

Bonjour Ian,
L'Australie est pourtant un pays presque neuf et pourtant déjà des bâtiments décident de disparaitre tout en offrant de beaux restes aux photographes de la région.
Amicalement

Hi Ian,it seems a pic coming from Scotland, with the green ground, the windy and cloudy weather and the ruins. Thet aren't a castle ruins, but makes me the same sensations. Lovely memory from your trip, great quality of sharpness and colors. Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Hello Ian,
Good textural detailed in the weathered old wall of the abandoned building. Excellent sharpness and good warm cold colour contrasts. The window nicely frames the bg tree. Tfs!

Hello Ian.
When most people show the old photos I have crazy idea one after another. I abandoned Liechtenstein and will show something different.
Best regards from Hvalfjardarsveit(where the hell it is?)

The ruin could be also beautiful, we can imagine that this building was a nice, well maintained house and people liked to live there, I think you next photo is a good complement to this photo, both photos are very good

Hi Ian
Oh I like this one. Its fun to imagine how it looked in its prime, how many people in the family lived here. why did they leave...so much mystery and wonder. nice to have the atmosphere too, and great we can see through the window. cheers
Craig
