Feeding, a photo from Victoria, Est

Photographer's Note

No fire damage or anything special today.
This is just a peaceful scene of cattle feeding in the foothills of the Victorian high country taken on the way down to the east coast.
The pastures look green but that is just from a little recent rain. The area is suffering drought and you can see that most of the cattle are munching into hay.
The hills are, of course, covered in eucalypt trees hence the dull green colour.

A beautiful scene of cattle grazing. I liked the layers of depth, the bright almost fluorescent green field followed by the warmer shades of the slope and trees in the middle and the bluish hills in the background. Very well composed and presented.

Bonjour, cher Ifege,
Le contraste est frappant avec la dernière vue présentant la forêt ayant subi un sinistre important.
Ici, tout semble calme, une scène presque pastorale !
Cette forêt d’eucalyptus est étonnante pour nos contrées !

A pleasant and healthy scenery for a change. I like the many diagonals of the hillsides and the different tones of green dominating the three rather distinct areas. The cattle provide life and create a nice atmosphere.

Beautiful landscape photo with so many details on the mountain forest and on the grass ground. Normally it's hard to copy this kind of view into a famed image, but you managed it very well here.
