Our local council area has been holding a annual tulip festive for 60 years. (It is a cool climate highland region). There are tulip displays in each of the 3 main towns but the largest is in Bowral in a town centre park. Usually large numbers of people and many coaches bring people from Sydney and the coast up the hill to see the tulips but last year and this year they can't come because we of COVID.
On the day I went for a look the park was closed so that they could record an online tour for people to watch.
A large planting like the one in the photo takes a lot of work and in the WS you can see some of the workers.
