This addition is for Leninoz who wanted to see the protea without a border. I think the black border added contrast to the red & black flower.

This is the same flower outside my bedroom window. They actually look like feathers stitched together to make this striking flower!

The flash for closeups not recomended it makes the shot flate so without flash it will give the natural light and shade so in my openion it is better to shoot without..this is a beautiful shot, nice frame, good sharpness and smart colours.

Don, I like it without the border but that is just my opinion.
