Two naked trees reaching out to touch....

Taken over looking lake Taupo.

I took the photo first thing in the morning before the sun had come up. There was a heavy mist and it was very cold and damp..

I liked how the two trees looked like they were reaching out to touch.

Hi Sue. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were covered in snow at the moment, what a cold weekend we’ve had! (Snow down below Kimbolton) I know these trees well, I’ve had take-aways under them more than once. Great photo. Good sharpness and subtle colours. Thanks for sharing.

I like the framing of the two trees
that go hand in hand (the branches).
It is a simple but takes very special,
with a lot of sense, very charming.

Hi Sue

What a creative title, and a creative composition. I would never have thought to shoot it like this. I also like the dominance of the soft blue colours. You have created an atmosphere of tranquillity. How are things over there in NZ? A little cold no doubt, but a huge win against the Wallabies must be warming you all up :)
