Sunrise over Lake Mackezie after 4 days hiking the Routeburn Track on the South Island NZ we awoke to this most unbelievable sight... thankfully I packed my Sigma 10-20mm for a wide angle shot and awesome star burst of the sun.

hello antony very nice picture, great place to be definitely, I like the sun reflection and its star shape given by the wide angle, the only disappointing thing is that the orrizont line , in this case the lake shore is inclined to the right

Welcome to TE, Anthony - and what a fantastic shot! The landscape is lovely, and obviously some tough light, but you've handled it very well. The sun is the star (pardon the pun) of the shot, though, and the flares you captured are some of the best I've seen - and replicated in the crystal clear reflection, too! Beautifully done.

Hi Antony and welcome on TE,
You caught a very beautiful moment here ! The first sunbeams spot on the mountains slopes and make the atmosphere very nice. The reflections are very nice and I love the dark / light contrast in the picture.
