Photographer's Note
In the high one of a hill of the village, it is the Castelinho ("Little Castle" 1897), old residence of the engineer-head of the São Paulo Railway. The strategical position allowed the highest English employee to observe the course of the works in the railroad maneuvers. Today the Center of Preservation of the Memory of Paranapiacaba functions in the Castelinho. There objects and instruments of works of the time of the English are congregated, that had been even so in 1946.

Interesting note, I thinkI can just about follow it, and the mist adds interest to the scene. I think there's just something a bit flat about it, compared with yesterdays shot. Still worth posting. What would be really interesting is a shot of the winch mechanism.
