Photographer's Note
The summer is the greatest season to catch storms and its dramatic clouds. After some scattered rains over the coast of São Paulo, leaving Santos aboard the cruiseship "Costa Romântica", the weather was opening on the horizon. Around half an hour after I´ve taken this picture I´ve shoot a nice red sunset, believe me. (If you like this sunset's picture I´ve linked, there is another POV, posted here).
I worked some extra contrast to have even more dramacity to the storm's clouds. But the weather was really heavy!

Very dramatic photo, the horizon is placed perfectly at bottom third of the photo so the focus in on the dramatic sky. Thanks for sharing.

This looks almost as if taken from a sci-fi movie. very dramatic clouds. The light coming throught the clouds is very nice. The position of the transporter is very in relation to the rest of the elements. very nice colours. An excellent compo :-)

Excellent composition catching those imposing clouds as the storm breaks...I'd hate to be in those boats! There is nothing like a heavy sky for adding a dramatic mood to a picture. Great light, well captured and presented. Best wishes, Vicky

These natural phenomenoms are always spectacular, but this one is particularly impressive and ready to rumble. The light filtering through the clouds create an enjoyable special effect.

Hello, the color is really the major element of this composition, and this image is l`une more imposing qu`il my summer to give to see, then it there with this atmospheric veil which magnifie the image, and the progressive attenuation of the sight in the distances is extremely aesthetic, sincerely

Hello Jose.
Wow, the sky looks so turbulant. For a moment I had to look hard to see the large ship was a tanker (I thought it was somebody in a canoe...until I saw the little sail boats). Really great POV to heighten the dramatic sky. Beautiful light and textures.
