As my job demands traveling around the State of São Paulo, by that time in june last year I was very close to my parents' home! Thus, I spent a week-end with my folks! (Two weeks from now, that'll happen again!!!)

CASTILHO is the name of the place and it's in the border of the States of SÃO PAULO and MATO GROSSO DO SUL! It's a fishermen's spot/paradise because the RIO PARANÁ/PARANÁ RIVER is in the county, some 15km westwards! It's around 730km west from the Capital City of the State (SÃO PAULO) and 630km west from CAMPINAS, the city where I live! The town is quite small but recent administrations have revitalized it! This picture was taken at the recently remodelled PRAÇA DA MATRIZ/MAIN SQUARE (newly renamed PRAÇA MARIA DO LÍRIO/MARIA DO LÍRIO SQUARE).

It was one day after the last autumn's day in the Southern Hemisphere and the sunlight of the late afternoon was pretty typical of this season of the year!

More to come...
