Another view of the same place and the same first day of winter.
We can see as the pastures in the top of the volcanic hill are finishing its cycle, waiting the dry and cold weeks, crossing winter and spring. Sometimes this period is shorter. The pink trees (ipê-roxo trees)lost all its leaves and in few time it is covered with flowers, and curiously such fragile flowers can resist to the frosts.
These rocky tops are usually the last space for native forest be preserved in my region because it is so rocky. During the droughts we can see as the trees lost their leaves trying to survive, the cacti are wild in these areas too.

Mais uma vista do mesmo local e do mesmo primeiro dia de inverno.
Vemos as pastagens no topo da colina vulcânica enfrentando o final do seu ciclo, esperando as semanas de frio e seca, cruzando inverno e primavera, em alguns anos esse período é bem curto.
O ipê-roxo perde todas as suas folhas e se enche de flores, curiosamente essas flores tão frágeis resistem às geadas.
Essas pontas de morro rochosas são geralmente o último abrigo da mata nativa, terra imprópria para cultivo. Durante as estiagens vemos como as árvores perdem suas folhas durante as secas, tentando sobreviver. Os cactos são nativos dessas áreas também.
