This photo was taken off today per the morning of the First Church of the Santíssimo Sacrament in Itajaí - Santa Catarina

The biggest artistic and cultural monument of the city. Truily its postal card. The basic rock was lançda in 1940 for Pe. vicar Jose Locks, according to project of German architect Simão Gramlich, the constructor of innumerable catarinenses churches.

Its architecture adds romantic elements and its interior congregates most beautiful paintings of the Italian artists Emilio Cessa and Aldo Locatelli. It sits down it in its vitrais drawings on eucarísticos and Biblical reasons detaching the immense panel of imaculda conception of the Virgin Maria in the ceiling, and the impotent statue of Moisés that goes down of the Sinai, workmanship of the Teichmann sculptor, placed on the canopy of the public.

The First Church was inaugurated in 15 of November of 1955 and its conclusion must to the work of then Monsignor Valdelino Hobbold.
