Hi Leonor,
Nice to see you uploading at almost the same time as mine. I love these boats and the ones at the back looks very similar to what we have here and they use the same plastic needle for mending too. Nice POV with the two men on both sides with the focus on the boats.

DEbe ser un tanto duro el trabajo de estos pescadores con ese tipo de red. Con la tecnologia de hoy en dia, deber ser sacrificado la competencia para estos hombres.

A fine daily life shot from the coast of brazil - I like the way the fishermen make a natural frame and the background with a view at the beach. I believe its possible to get a shot like this around here as well - but its not a common sight after all - thanks for sharing.

Hi Leonor, A good man in work picture with nice details. I like the tight crop to have both men in the picture and their concentrating with their work. Good sharpness, which enables us to see the details of the net. Nice to see the boats and the village in the background.

Hola Leonor.
Me gusta la escena, tanto por como la has capturado como por la escena en sí.
Tiene algo de simple, de sencillo: son los dos hombres trabajando con su red.
Puede que la luz no sea la mejor, pero es una foto que yo llamaría sincera. Y eso le da mucho valor: el trabajo de estos hombres sin más. No hay elementos en los que la vista se pierda, no hay primeros planos que resten importancia a la escena.
Incluso diría que has hecho algo que yo normalmente no haría: cortar a los dos protagonistas de la foto. Pero aquí, pensándolo, es incluso bueno: porque se concentra más la vista en los dos hombres.
Y añadiría, sin hacer postprocesados que jueguen con la luz y el color (que los hace mucha gente) gana en naturalidad. Y eso le añade aún más valor. Al menos eso creo.

No digo que sea tu mejor foto, pero desde luego es una foto que, al menos, es muy interesante.

Hola Leonor.
Muy buena foto, la captaste muy bien permitiendo ver claramente sus trabajos ademas de presentar unos colores muy definidos. Una cosa que me llama la atencion es que a pesar de tomar la foto tan cerca de los pescadores aun tienes un buen foco en la parte donde se encuentran los demas botes y las casas.

Hola Leonor. Buena foto documental en la que muestras con mucho acierto los trabajos manuales de estos pescadores y sus herramientas.
Al principio pensé que el fondo distraía un poco. Pero mirando la foto varias veces veo que no distrae. La mirada se va sobre todo a la red y el fondo ayuda a documentar mejor la historia.
Finalmente, encuentro algo que ocurre mucho en todo el mundo. Aunque las redes y las barcas no son lo mejor de la tecnología, el nombre de la barca tiene el mismo que un famoso delfín de la televisión, y seguramente en su honor.

Nice catching of these two fishermen on their environment work. Nice colours and good light. It is not surprise that the south of the island is famous for their fish restaurants. My favourite is one on the Pantano do Sul, the Arantes.

Você conseguiu um excelente POV para colocar um monte de barcos, redes, bandeiras, casinhas árvores e até um gato escondidinho de barriga cheia eu acho que também deve ter aí, rere. Brincadeiras à parte, a composição ficou muito boa.
