Dog´s Canoe, a photo from Sao Paulo, Southeast

This is a fisheman´s canoe from Ilhabela-SP, Brazil. This kind of canoe is very usual in the South of Brazil, specially in the states of São Paulo, Paraná and Santa Catarina. Fishermans use to catch their fishes and shrimps departing from the beach. Some, bigger, are motor powered. But there are many, like this, just to paddle usually in protected waters. I found this one at Viana´s Beach, and the peace of the dog resting under the canoe´s shadow is also a common scene from this fisherman´s places. Cheers!

Very nice composition, contrast and colors, with a very good note, too.

Being almost a 'Paulistano' by adoption I like Ilhabela very much and your photo captures the 'mood' of that place very well.

Ha, ha... this is funny. I like colours conoe and your work with difficult light. Very nice and funny scene. Maybe you should to crop this image a bit on the top- maybe, is a just idea.
