Photographer's Note

Hi TE friends.
From my last trip to Barazil, i like to share with you some pictures from the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro.
Leblon and Ipanema share the same beach, like Leme and Copacabana. The border is a shallow canal and park known as Jardim de Ala (Allah's Gardens). Leblon is one of the best areas to stay or live in Rio.
Leblon has a romantic history. It was an area area of difficult access, and it was once used as a hiding place for runaway slaves. The land originally belonged to Frenchman Charles Le Blond, who owned a fishing company named Aliança. He sold the land to Portuguese José de Seixas Magalhães.
Leblon started to grow with Ipanema, when a streetcar line connected them to the rest of the city. Leblon was at the end of the line, and it grew at a somewhat slower pace. Even though it's very cosmopolitan today, it still retains a small town charm with neighborhood shops that have been around for generations.

Bela foto da cidade maravilhosa, o leblon é realmente o melhor bairro para se morar aqui no Rio de janeiro, bom uso do polarizador, o mar e o céu ficaram com cores lindas.

Nice work on a lot of levels, Ioannis. I like the rich colors, the contrasts, and the sweep of the beach to take us right to the mountain. Well-placed subject there, and good use of diagonals and lines throughout the composition. I like the perspective, as well -- the mountains and buildings balance each other and provide a useful cue as to their relative perspective.

This is a great panoramic shot of Rio. Your composition and POV are great with nice sharpness and detail. The lighting and colors are great with nice depth and contrast. You picked a very nice subject and presented it very well.

Όμορφη φωτογραφία και ωραίο ανοικτό πλάνο. Ωστόσο χρωματικά είναι αρκετά παράξενη! Δεν ξέρω αν φταίει η επεξεργασία ή κάτι άλλο αλλά μου φαίνεται αρκετά παράξενη.
