Photographer's Note

This is one of the most famous brazilian beaches, called Porto de Galinhas (something like Chiken's Harbour). The name comes from the the time when Brazil was a big slave's buyer, who came in ships brought from Africa. When the slave's traffic became illegal, they kept coming, but in a different way: behind chicken's boats, contrabanded and hided in the ship's bilges.

The place you can see is what local people call "Piscinas Naturais" or Natural Pools, and it's actually a reef barrier that forms these pools when the low tide comes. Hope you like the image.
