Chicureo Paradise, a photo from Santiago, Central Valley

Photographer's Note

Dear Friends...some time back I shared with you a view of what I believe is "Paradise" located in the village of Alresford - South of the UK - Hampshire...today I would like you to visit another idylic spot at the other extreme of the world...in fact at the tip end of the world... in Chile: Chicureo located some 25 Km North of Santiago, the capital.

Muy bonito panorama of the cielo cubierto con sus nubes de colores tenues. Me gusta la perspectiva al captar el lago en el frente con el color de grama verde en el centro. Muy buen trabajo con la profundidad y el uso de luz. Los detalles en esta foto son bien visibles y la nitidez es casi perfecta a mi gusto. Muy bonito trabajo al captar la belleza de este lugar. Before I read your note I was reminded of the previous post from England. It has the same style; the strong contrast and high saturation. Here the light is stunningly beautiful and the reflections superb. The cloud formation is the first thing to catch the eye and the cloud lines all lead us to the centre of the frame from where our eyes wander out to the rest of this beautiful image.

In my opinion, photography art also includes the ability of postprocessing images. I first regard a pic as a rough stone, and after a good processing, the precious stone may look like this.

My God Robert. This shot stands with any landscape shot I have ever seen. Absolutely astounding. Such rich colors and reflections. The clouds appear as though they are streaming over head at a fast pace. The bushes around the lake are a nice focal point in the mid region of the photo. Super beautiful lighting, all is great with your picture here friend.

Something I aspire to do eventually.
The composition in itself has nothing special but the light coming out of it is otstanding,almost alive.The colors are so precise,pure and well saturated,just enough.
The clouds,or I should say,their dynamism is the strong point here,and double effect with the reflexion in the water.
