Dear TE Friends,
The photo was taken in one of the city's popular parks, in the Lower Barracca Garden. Many people stay here because a wonderful panorama overlooks the surrounding cities. The resting peoples interested me better however, than on the picture visible. I hope, you like this. Beautiful Sunday!

The Lower Baracca Gardens (Il-Barrakka t'Isfel) is a garden in Valletta, Malta. It offers a magnificent view of the Grand Harbour and the Breakwater. There are two monuments, one dedicated to Alexander Ball and another in remembrance of the Great Siege of Malta.

Valletta

Valletta (alternatively Belt Valletta, Città Umilissima, or Humilissima Civitas Valletta) is the capital city of Malta. It is located in the central-eastern portion of the island of Malta and has a population of 6,315.

Valletta, the Città Umilissima, is essentially Baroque in character, with elements of Mannerist, Neo-Classical and Modern architecture in selected areas. Although many of its treasures survive, World War II left major scars on the city. The City of Valletta was officially recognised as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1980.

Benjamin Disraeli, a future British Prime Minister, visited the city in 1830 and described it as "a city of palaces built by gentlemen for gentlemen," and remarked that "Valletta equals in its noble architecture, if it does not excel, any capital in Europe," and in other letters called it "comparable to Venice and Cádiz" and "full of palaces worthy of Palladio.

Excellent repetition with superb colour, sharpness & lighting contrasts. I like the lead in lines & linear perspective of the green chairs. Good use of a shallow dof. Tfs!

Fantastic DOF and beautiful colors. The entire scene is beautiful and you've captured it well although I think the picture is tilting to the left just a bit.
