Photographer's Note
This photo was taken in Monsaraz, an old small village nested atop an hill in the Alentejo.
You can find several photos of Monsaraz here in TE, but what raised my curiosity was the fact that this Lamp was put in place when the house and the wall were already ruins.
And they had the extra care of placing it perfectly centered over the door that is surely out of use for decades.
