Passage into Twin Lagoon, a photo from Palawan, Southern Tagalog

Photographer's Note

This is in Coron Island, Province of Palawan, specifically the passage to enter the famed Twin Lagoon. With depth of around 50 meters, it is amazing that the bottom of the lake is very visible because of crystal clear water.

Coron is part of the Calamian Island Group and is merely 40 minutes away from Manila via the turboprop Bombardier Q400. I shot this using the ultra-wide angle Tamron 10-24mm on my Canon 7D.

Exactly the place where I would like to be today, with fins, mask and snorkels... surrounded by colorful fishes and corals dancing in the streams... It seems so reachable here... the dynamic perspective an the colors attract me inevitably. I jump in your lagoon without any hesitation!
