Photographer's Note

An Exterior shot of Qasr al Mushata or the Winter Palace, it was originally planned to be the biggest and the most lavish of the Umayyad Castles, but it was never finished, the Caliph Walid was assassinated in 743ACE by disgruntled labourers. of course you can understand why when you look at the islamic empire map- the area of Jordan was a backwater desert.

I like to think that if it was ever completed then Amman it wouldn't have been Jordan's Capital, and probably a more beutiful city than Damascus.

located in an industrial zone (named after the palace), right next to the Central Amman Airport- you can see it as you take off or land.

I'm trying a new style of post-production, adding more darker contrasts as well as saturating it a little more, it helps with the "milky" layer that you sometimes see in pictures.
