Photographer's Note

This cornish tin mine is one of a few still standing in central Cornwall. It was taken just inland from St. Agnes on the west coast. Tin was Cornwall's main industry for many years during the 17th and 18th centuries. Now in ruins, these buildings are an eerie sight on the landscape, especially if the weather is misty or stormy.
