Photographer's Note

It is a commonly shared belief that IT SHOULDN'T SNOW IN LONDON. The truth is, it doesn't USUALLY snow in London, but it recently did. A lot. And if it was terrible on the traffic hand, it was fun and beautiful on the other hand!

I took this photo from the front seat on the upper deck of a bus, while waiting in front of these traffic lights for an incredibly long amount of time :)

Une photo originale et beau tableau abstrait qu'il ne reste qu'à signer. Les deux feux rouges attirent l'attention et ajoutent de la couleur à la photo. Excellente présentation et j'ai l'impression que cet hiver il neige partout.

Here in NYC we know views like this all too well this winter. :-) This is certainly a creative way to see London. I like the red lights and bits of color poking through.

Hello Irene - I like this a lot; you have captured more than just a picture - the shot is full of atmosphere I can feel myself sitting on that bus. Light management is very good and the painterly quality super. Best regards Rosemary

Hello Irene,
What a great capture. We can see enough of the street scene to know what it is - too much which would spoil the lovely painting like effect. The strong red lights and the blue sign on the left provide some strong colour. Excellent in all respects.

Hi Irene,

Its great to see something really different and original like this. As Anne says, we can see just the right amount of detail of the street through the snow and glass, any more would spoil the effect. The red lights look great too. Well done. Thanks for sharing.

Ca c'est vraiment original , et particulièrement réussi . On dirait un tableau abstrait . Les deux éclats rouges sont attirants , dans cette ambiance froide .
