Photographer's Note
The Red Flag Exercises are very realistic aerial war games. The purpose of the Red Flag Exercise is to give pilots from the U.S., NATO and other allied countries an opportunity to practice and refine their skills for real combat situation. This includes the use of “enemy” hardware and live ammunition for bombing exercises. There are two teams, the good guys (Blue Team) and the aggressors (Red Team). The aggressors is composed of Nellis AFB-based pilots specially trained for this purpose, flying F-15 and F-16 aircrafts. The Blue Team is composed of the various guest “players” in their native aircrafts.
(From Wikipedia) The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II is a tandem two-seat, twin-engined, all-weather, long-range supersonic jet interceptor fighter/fighter-bomber originally developed for the United States Navy by McDonnell Aircraft. It first entered service in 1960 with the U.S. Navy. Proving highly adaptable, it was also adopted by the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Air Force, and by the mid-1960s had became a major part of their respective air wings.

F4 a nice addition to your gallery, Eleu.
We used to have this fighter here - and I still can recall hearing it's roars taking-off in airfield back in 1971-1974 in the Sinai desert...

Hi Eleu
Nice close-up of this het. Very attractive colours and good control of the shutter speed to get such a clean image when it would be travelling so quickly.
TFS and I wish you a lovely day
