Wow!The light and content of this image is in such contrast and creates a stream of visual movement. It also has a simple & well devloped depth that keeps the eye searching. I can't imagine how one would improve. Are you sure this is just a hobby?

Fantastic! The details and composition is great. Facial expression, details of stones, chimney in haze...all well captured. I'd have liked to save the girl's head getting distorted by the wide-angle element, though. Otherwise a perfect shot commamorating a historical event. All the best.

Well Frederic, another fine touching portrait. A surpising shot of Riga, that's at complete odds with my impression of it. Note much of a note, but a very loaded single line. Great work.

Wow, amazing. The rich B&W again, and the lovely composition. For me, the two pieces of clothes on the line in the background make the picture -- I can't believe your luck.

Beautiful picture. I love this one. Actually the whole portfolio is very good. I have nothing to criticize on this one, a masterpiece imo. Given you only started taking pictures in 2003, you are a very gifted man.

Zosia Zija! Is there something in the air in eastern Europe that leads wonderful atmospheric photos to jump out of the camera? Can't stop loooking at the beautiful textures, the contrasting tones - and the deep feeling of warmth and humanity.

Super ! Great shot. Love everything about it. The texture of the stones, clothes hanging, the look of the two girls and the way they are glued together tells a lot of their relationship.

Frederic, superb composition and excellent control over the depth of field. The softness of the older girl's face draws attention to the apprehensive look of the younger one. Background looks a little blown but this is an atmospheric shot. Stephen

Je ne sais trop si tu es un membre "actif" ou non. Mais, je vais écrire quand même! ;)
Je découvre ta galerie et j'aime bien ton regard particulier, unique. Je dois dire que je fuis, à l'ordinaire, les photos d'enfants (et quelques autres thèmes...), mais j'avoue que celle-ci m'a accrochée. Oui, le "regard" des deux fillettes, l'un doux et souriant et l'autre presque méfiant. Mais j'avoue que c'est surtout le décor autour qui m'a accroché l'oeil et fait m'arrêter... Les pierres mille fois, sans doute, piétinées, les vêtements suspendus à la corde, une allée pas trop ordonnée, l'ombre et la lumière... Ce n'est pas simplement la photo de deux "cutes" fillettes, mais une photo de deux fillettes dans leur environnement. C'est comme si tout maintenant prenait un sens...
