Spring is turning to summer on the low ground.
In the distance silage has been gathered - but on the moors things look much the same until in August the heather blooms spectacularly for a short while.
Trough House is now used as a shooting party shelter. It has a claim to fame in that John Wesley preached here to a large crowd in the mid 1700s. His influence still persists with many of the local Dales having Methodist or Wesleyan Chapels. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Wesley
The sun had just set, and colour was draining from the scene as the light faded.
