This is a picture of the Arc de Triomphe at sunset. The sun light at sunset provided an interesting highlight and shadows on the ceiling. This picture was taken just before a ceremony to relight the Flame of Remembrance and replace the flowers on the tomb for the unknown soldier.

I think you have captured this ceiling very well.The carvings of the figures to the left are exquisite ,and wish I could have seen more.The bosses too are beautifully made.T.F.S. Best Wishes Gladys
