Photographer's Note
This morning I visited our municipal capital, the little town of Nijar which is famous for its pottery and hand woven rugs. Many subjects to photograph and I will return to study it further as there are so many attractive old buildings, quaint streets and pretty little squares and corners in the old part of town. I particularly like the old wooden doors of these buildings. In this photo I liked the colours and textures and it makes a change from my recent landscape posts.

Hello Digby,
Very attractive this old wooden door. And, you have captured it nicely under a sympathetic light. Pleasant understated tones and good sharpness. Have a good weekend.

Hi Digby,
The old wooden doors have a great charm! The faded blue of this one is particularly sweet. The tight framing on the latter brings into focus. The light touches the walls and brings out the textures.
Sincerely,
Delphine
