Dear Gert,
you did well to post it, during this situation we can not think too much about the composition and sometimes do not even have enough time, the child does not seem very happy, I believe that load of so much responsibility is not fair and not natural, they should just play and go to school, the light and colors are superb and the quality excellent...

Hello Gert,
I like this picture very much because of its wonderful rich and bright light and colours and the little girl's intriguing expression. There may not be an eye contact but her lowered eyes convey feelings and describe her mood. She stands out very well thanks to the colours she's wearing, to the excellent depth, sharpness and framing. I would call this and the pictures of the workshop spontaneous shots, the kind that confront disorder and, with effective cropping, can reveal lovely details. They must be fun! This may have been a snapshot, Gert, but that doesn't make it uncomposed - in fact I think the composition works nicely, with the face and plate both at the thirds mark, and the lines of bright flowers connecting them in a sea of pink and red clothing. Sure, there are some things you might have changed had you had time to react and set it up, but then this exact moment might have been lost, and I like the expression of concentration on the girl's face here.

An interesting shot at the festival and her attires, self-confident character but rather shy to see the lens and her appeaence is a feast to hold the attention and full of vibrancy that just leaps off the screen. This is a fantastic, timely shot and good contrast but imho, the burst of vibrant colors add that all important impact to this shot. Well done, TFS

Hi Gert, it is not easy to make photos in the crowd. It would be better not to have this hand with camera. But the girl is so charming with the orange flowers, she certainly deserves to be shown here. Nice shot. They always use tagetes in religious celebrations.

Absolut tre mycket bra och intressanta bilder, väl värda att visa på TE. Mycket att titta på, skarp och fina färger. Flickan verkar inte riktigt bekväm, med det som pågår. Detta är nog inte ovanligt någonstans i världen att barn inte alltid gillar det som vuxna vill att de ska delta i. Tack för titten och ha en trevlig kväll!

Yet another brilliant candid! I'm really glad you decided to dig it out and show it to the world in the end! I like the way you filled the frame with the main subject and yet managed to show her in a wider context - the woman in the background and the plate in the bottom left corner are perfectly placed and cropped.

Hi Gert,
Actually, it is a nice shot. True, you did excellent shots with eye contact...but this one is still beautiful, because it makes viewers wonder...to the girls view or thought.. I love the colours.
BTW, What about give a further crop, down to the head of the girl, get rid off the glasses? And you may blur the background a bit as well on PS.

She has a sweet angelic face indeed! In the WSs a whole troop of the little angels brighten up the scene. They are Bengalis like me...I guessed from the white & red bangle the women are wearing...sign of married women. I like the wonderful exposure & colours in this shot. Great!

Hello Gert,

The red of the girl's dress and the yellow marigolds add a lot of warmth to this shot. Good sharpness and excellent shadow detail in the face despite the harsh light. Tfs!
