Photographer's Note
The double-decker, "Hop On - Hop Off," had just stopped at a traffic light in Dublin. I saw it as an opportunity to shoot the cylindrical glass-clad building just to the side. Since the individual panes of glass are themselves flat, multifaceted reflecting surfaces are created. Moreover, what we regard as flat panes frequently display huge variations, like the distorting mirrors in a carnival. I am starting the new group theme, "City reflections," with two of my own photos. I invite others to join the group theme with photos of their own.

Hello Bulent,
The curving glass wall and the large number of panes provided additional interest and accentuate the distortion. Well taken at an opportune moment.

Hello Bülent,
How nice to see a round glass building all filled with clouds. ;-) The shape of the building and the blue, grey and green tones of the glass sheets make this a very harmonious composition.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Bulent,
It is great to see my city through the eys of another, and here you teach me that even though I always harp on about how I love modern glass towers, and Dublin has too few, that I should look harder and fine ones like this :)
Een though it is not huge, it is very attractive, I like its modern facade a lot, and the way it reflects the sky is beautiful, looking like another world emanating from inside. The blue tones are really appealing.
If you don't mind, I would like to add one or two pictures to your theme too, I have a couple in my gallery that may suit!
Best wishes

Dear Bulent,
Wonderful photo of this glass façade. The sky is reflected so beautifully here. Great idea for a theme too, I am pretty sure I have some suitable photos in my portfolio, so I'll add them soon.

Hello Bulent
Nice architectural subject, and an Irish blue sky! Modern buildings, with the amount of glass typically to be seen, cry out to be photographed, and I'm glad you heard the call.
Regards
Will
P.S. I'll take you up on that group theme offer!

Hello Bulent,
A good photo to start that interesting theme, which can be filled with much good photos if some of us search for the galleries. At least some years ago there were some colleagues that posted much photos with reflections.
It is a bit amazing how you were able to get such a good POV/compo from a bus.
Warm regards, José.

Hi Bulent,
You found the right elements for this beautiful study. An interesting glass façade, a blue sky and some white clouds are recommended.
I found last Friday in Rotterdam the same condition so I do have some advanced studies in portfolio.

Hello Bulent,
I like modern architecture, and this facade is sleek and very good for reflecting the blue sky. I also like the curved shape. It's a bonus when you can capture some older architecture in a newer building, but a lovely sky will also do. :-)

Hi Bulent
when you take a photo like this, its so important to have an attractive sky or at least an atmospheric sky.
the worst is a sky thats just 100% blue with no clouds.
here not only do the clouds add to the skyline, but we can also see their reflections in most of the windows.
excellent upwards pov, thats how to do it!
cheers

Hi Bulent,
Nice reflections of the clouds and patches of blue sky in the shiny surface of the high rise building. Good sharpness and a fine upward pov. Perspective has been well managed and I like the repetition of the curves within the architecture. Tfs!

İyi Akşamlar Bülent Bey,
I love these modern buildings with glass facades for their reflections. You have introduced a very cute specimen here. I believe I have at least one such photo in my gallery, if I can find it, I'll add it to the theme.
Regards,
MT
