This photo is taken very close to the one shown of Thor's Well here
Cape Perpetua is about 2 miles south of Yachats in Oregon. This very scenic area has old growth forest and interesting rock formations created by the forces of the Pacific Ocean. There are roaring channels, as shown in the photo, where incoming and outgoing waves collide. The picture shows the water flowing back into one of the many channels caused by the force of the tides. There is a lot of spray and the rocks are slippery to walk on.
