Hello friends and partner, today I offer a composition with the architecture of a beautiful Portuguese city, I hope you like it. Then some lyrics about the city.

Miranda do Douro (Portuguese Miranda do Douro, in mirandés Miranda de l Douro) is a belonging to the Portuguese city of Bragança District, Northern Region and subregion of the High Trás-os-Montes, Tierra de Miranda.

It is the seat of a municipality comprises 17 parishes, which covers an area of 488.36 square kilometers and a population of 7,482 inhabitants (2011) .1 The municipality limits the northeast and southeast Spain, southwest with the municipality of Mogadouro and northwest with Vimioso.

The people of this town are traditionally spoken language called Mirandese. In addition, its territory is comprised within the Douro International Natural Park.
In ancient times it belonged to the convent of Astorga, Leon, of which he was influenced culturally and linguistically. Miranda talks with the Portuguese Mirandese language, which is a derivative of asturleonés speaking linguistic domain and has official status. Bilingual labeling is common in populations near Miranda: Sendim, Duas Igrejas or Aldeia Nova.

Miranda is located on the Portuguese bank of the Douro River and from Spain is accessed by crossing the border crossing to be opened over the dam of Miranda, one of the dams that cut the river along the border. The characteristic landscape of your site is made by high granite walls encasing the watercourse in its international section.
Border town with Spain and a pass over the Douro by the dam of the same name in the Portuguese stretch of the river hydroelectric plant, trade is the backbone of the local economy. Until the disappearance of borders in the European Union, Miranda do Douro was visited in search of textiles, coffee and bronze handicrafts, among others.

A commercial activity has joined tourism development in search of the monuments of the city, the scenic environment of the Duero boxed or water sports in the reservoir.

Hola Angel.
You composed a fine and harmonious picture; the silhuette of the tower anainst the blue sky and the white building with the 2 windows and the lamp; it's really nicely cropped. The tree is a big plus, too.

This architecture is beautiful, the church as well as the ordinary house in the foreground. You have balanced them well against each other and the tree is also well placed. You have created a trio of interesting elements of different colours with fine light and beautiful colours.

I did not have a chance to go so far north in Portugal which I sincerely regret.
Beautiful architecture here, you have selected two nice elements, the tower is warmly lit and eye catching. The white building very elegant too and contrasts with the one in the back.

The tight framing works well here. Good sharpness and excellent color and saturation. The warm honey color of the stone tower at left contrasts well with the blue sky to give a nice warm cold color contrast. Tfs!
