Ritorno a Matera, a photo from Matera, Basilicata

Photographer's Note

Matera non era prevista alla partenza della mia vacanza, ma ero un po' in anticipo sui tempi e mi trovavo a solo un'ora di distanza, per cui non ho resistito e ho passato un pomeriggio e una notte in questa meravigliosa città.
Devo dire che ho fatto molto bene, ho scoperto una parte di città che non avevo visto lo scorso anno e ho potuto visitare anche tre chiese rupestri.
Inoltre, tornando a Matera, ho concluso il giro delle coste italiane, in pratica ho percorso tutto il perimetro dello stivale.

Ciao Carlo,forse l'arco occupa troppo spazio nella composizione,in fondo il meglio viene dallo sfondo,per cui una tagliatina a questa cornice naturale non sarebbe stata una brutta idea,comunque resta una cattura perfetta quanto a dettagli ed esposizione da un luogo che resta sempre nella mia agenda dei desideri. Excellent résultat photo avec cette vue à travers ce porche, bien le point fort de l'église te de son clocher, très bonne gestion des contrastes de luminsoité entre la partie au soleil et le premier plan à l'ombre.

Ciao Carlo, interesting idea to see all the perimeter of the Italian boot. and I am sure that Matera is worth visiting more than one time. Beautiful composition. well chosen pov through the arch. Lovely view of the white yellow houses under the pale blue sky. Superb picture.

Hello Carlo,
It's a very nice composition with a lovely view of the ancient town seen through the vault. It is well exposed but the blue sky is quite noisy. You could have cleaned it easily.
