Photographer's Note
It is useful to read both notes:
Full zoom extract towards Rmaych, the village across the border to south Lebanon, which years ago it was a Christian-Maronite village. Most of this community fled to South-America during the civil wars in the late 70th, now remain as small minority to muslim population.
Distance of about 2.5 km to the Blue-Line border (just over the foreground ridge where the green forest ends) from the Adir mountain lookout at 1008m above sea level.
General location is at 33.075, 35.365 on the map.
RAW, F10, 1/320, ISO100, spot.

Hello Ike,
Two interesting photos showing a scenery which doesn't reveal its violent history or the present tense situation. The weather was fairly clear and there is only some haze in the distance. Both photos are well exposed and sharp.

Hi Ike,
interesting reportage. Haze contributed to varied level of clarity across the frame.
It feels like a scene from a dream.
Have a good weekend,

Hello Ike,
Excellent sharpness and good depth and layering with the distinct fg olive tree groves, the receding hills, hazy midground village and blue hazy bg hills. Tfs!

Hi Ike,
The wideness of the area is creating depth. The point of view is showing the details of the village. The light is bringing out the colors. Looking at the map, the village is located in south Lebanon, the location is showing Israel ?? Have a nice day.

Hello Ike
The use of a long lens always compresses the picture from backdrop to near field, consequently amplifying the distant haze.
In this case of an explanatory document about the Israelite valley, the image quality remains quite aesthetic and very descriptive of the note information.
Thanks for showing
Shalom

Hi Ike,2 pics that reminds a bit my last post, but here the valleys are full of houses. It's a nice thing to show a different country from another one,2 view of borders and first libanese villages in different directions made in the excellent way and useful note too. Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Hello Ike,
I once read that quite a large number of Lebanese and Syrians have emigrated to South America and integrated there perfectly.
In Colombia I once stayed in a guest house run by Lebanese Colombians. It was only noticeable to me because I asked where the lady's first name came from. A strange name for me that wasn't Spanish at all. The answer was that the name was Arabic and that the family had come from Lebanon a long time ago.
From certain points in Israel you can see very far into Lebanon.
A beautiful hilly region with villages alternating with fields and trees.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Ike, two interesting pictures of an area that I know very little about, so your notes are very useful.
On full zoom, you managed to capture so much, well done.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Ike,
You had a great vantage point to overlook the border region and its gentle slopes with some trees and towns. Well captured.
