Photographer's Note

I have no idea of the nature of vision of ostriches, but as it looks here, it should be close to a 18mm fish-eye.
Photographied in the meadow of a neighbour who has a passion: acclimatize non-regional animals in Normandy. Works well here, if you see the beak. This one is an african male (black feathers) ostrich, arrived here with a female (grey feathers). They are quite familiar, but can have some dangerous behaviour if feeling a danger. Their powerful feet carry twin toes and nails capable of killing! They run quicker than any normal human and the male size is 2 meters!
