Photographer's Note
A beautiful day can turn into a nightmare in a splitsecond. heavy clouds can fill even the clearest sky and reflect evil in the bluest water...
or you can just use a filter and play with a toner...

"declare this an emergency
come on and spread a sense of urgency
and pull us through
and pull us through
and this is the end
this is the end
of the world
and it's time we saw a miracle
come on, it's time for something biblical
to pull us through
and pull us through
and this is the end
this is the end
of the world"

Tough atmosphere, I agree with your note. Good use of filter but to me too much grain. Maybe clear it or it was your intention ?

Looks like a scene out of a japanese horror movie. Its like The Ring or something. Fantastic colors and just perfectly dark to evoke a scary mood.

Helloooooooooo Jorrit, you were on my mind today!! Missed you a bit, just a bit of course ;-)
Yes, this is a bit creepy picture, and what you describe in your note, is usually how these kind of movies begin. Indeed, I have the feeling that I can go on walking to a vanishing point here.
Wow, you have done something impressive to this picture.
nnnnnnnice!

I clocked this one because I love that Muse song. Excellent illustration for it, better than the 'Absolution' cover design, you ought to give them a ring :-)

This is good sh$t Jorrit, right from the thumbnail was very interesting, and actually I thought that
Benedetto
is posting again. Well I am not disappointed it's not him because this is good, good choice of filer, grain is fine with me althoug on a heavy side, mood in the image is fantastic, good compo. Perhaps a scared child walking in the middle would have made it even better.

You can transform a peeacefull place in an hell.
It seems to be on Poland, exactly at the entrance of lager of Auschwitz: the footpath (?)reminds me the tracks at the end of the fatal route. The use of filter and the toner give a very cold winter atmosphere and I can see all those people to shiver and to shudder.
The title is evocative of the scene I have in my mind but I'd prefer it without the word "please".
Not bad at all my English, Jorrit.
Say "ciao" to Ale.
